The PGCF was thrilled to host the Citizen of the Year Celebration event on Wednesday, March 8th, 2022. Recipients were honoured in 2 categories: the Lifetime Achievement Award and Annual Difference Maker.
The Citizen of the Year award is given to those who have gone above and beyond in community volunteerism and philanthropy. Whether it be giving of their time, talent, expertise, or just being a good advocate, all of these play a role in making Prince George the wonderful community it is.
Lifetime Achievement Award: awarded to an individual who has provided volunteer service for a minimum of ten years in Prince George and has shown exemplary leadership through the volunteer and philanthropic work. The 2022 recipients were:
Annual Difference Maker Award: awarded to an individual who has demonstrated above average volunteerism or philanthropic dedication to the Prince George Community within the last calendar year. The 2022 recipient was:
