Community Arts Council

The Knox United Church in downtown Prince George is a de-consecrated former place of worship that is owned by the Prince George United Church (PGUC).  The CAC and the PGUC have planned a feasibility study project that will review all aspects of converting this space into a live music and events venue. There has been a community priority for many years to develop a mid-sized live performance space in the downtown core of the City.  This additional feasibility study is an integral part of the planning process that will guide all major decisions and funding strategies around converting the former church into a professional, fully equipped, fully renovated accessible live music and events venue, with seating of up to 300 people, that will serve the community for generations to come.

25 Years of History

Because of the work of a few, many Prince George charities have benefited by the creation of the Prince George Community Foundation. More than 25 years ago the Foundation was just a dream. Today it has granted back over $4.89 million and we're just getting started. We are proud to release this video in honor of those who came before us and worked so tirelessly to create a Foundation that will benefit all Prince George residents. Please enjoy.
