This significant financial support will bolster local initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of life in Prince George.

The 2024 grant recipients, carefully selected for their dedication to community betterment, are set to receive funding for projects that promise to leave a lasting positive impact:

Hart Highlands Winter Club & Caledonia Adaptive Snow Sports are granted $20,000 to construct an Accessible Patio & Ramp, ensuring inclusivity and enjoyment for all community members.

These grants were made possible by the thoughtful merger of Interior Savings and Spruce Credit Union, honoring the enduring legacy of Spruce Credit Union's founders and their contributions to the Prince George community.

"When we launched this fund, we invited bold ideas with the potential for lasting positive change," said Brian Harris, CEO of Interior Savings. "Prince George exceeded our expectations. The compassion within this community and the quality of the proposals were truly inspiring. These projects will not only create opportunities and strengthen community bonds but also save lives."

Harris also extended thanks to all those who applied, the Foundation, the local advisory committee, and the founding members of Spruce Credit Union who made this Fund possible.

The Foundation looks forward to opening this grant cycle again next Fall. Follow along on our website for further information about requirements and funding limits.
