In partnership with the Prince George Council of Seniors, The Seniors Emergency Pilot Program (SEPP) is designed provide one-time financial support to seniors in Prince George facing urgent and unexpected financial hardship.

Applicants must:
NOTE: Seniors may be assisted in completing their application by another individual.
Eligible Requests
Urgent unexpected expenses or essential items may include, but are not limited to:
Housing/Utility costs related to sudden changes in living or income situations. Possible examples:
Medical/Dental Emergencies as well as related prescriptions, supplies, or equipment.
Essential Home/Vehicle Repairs such as:
Unexpected losses due to accident, fire, theft or other unforeseen circumstances. Possible examples:
Pet Care such as urgent veterinary bills for a companion animal.
Any other expense or need, the neglect of which which would pose an immediate risk to the physical or mental health and safety of the individual or other persons who live with them.
Limitations
SEPP funding is not intended to support an ongoing situation. Individuals may apply for funding for as many unexpected expenses as they may encounter, however an individual may not receive funding more than once every six months.
